Doughnut Plant Doughnuts

Our passion is providing our customers with the best doughnuts in the world, handcrafted every day using the finest ingredients available. Our doughnuts are made fresh throughout the day at our bakery in New York City. All of our jams, fillings and glazes are made in house and our dough is rolled and cut by hand. We never use eggs, preservatives or anything artificial and our doughnuts contain no trans fat.

We are a bakery, making fresh doughnuts daily. Flavors are subject to availability. We also add new flavors that may not be listed here, so stop in and check out what we’re doing. #moredeliciousness


Lemon Verbena Gluten Free Cake Doughnut

Limited edition/pop-up GLUTEN FREE cake doughnut: Fresh, aromatic glaze made with lemon verbena leaves from the Union Square Greenmarket.

Concord Grape doughseeds

Limited edition pop-up flavor: Housemade Concord Grape Jam filled doughseeds—one dipped in a Peanut Butter glaze and one with Concord Grape glaze. Made with fresh Concord grapes from the Greenmarket.


Apple Cinnamon (yeast)

A Doughnut Plant staple since the 1990s, using local apples from the GreenMarket and real cinnamon in the glaze.

Pumpkin with Spiced Pepitas (yeast)

A glaze made with real pumpkins and spiced pumpkin seeds, or pepitas, on top.

Apple Cinnamon (cake)

Our twist on a traditional apple cider doughnut, using local apples from the GreenMarket and real cinnamon—in the glaze and the dough.

Pumpkin With Spiced Pepitas (cake)

Another seasonal favorite, made with real pumpkins -- in the dough and the glaze. The seeds are spiced pumpkin seeds, or pepitas.

Housemade pumpkin filling dipped in a glaze made with real pumpkins and spiced pumpkin seeds, or pepitas, on top.

Cranberry Yeast

Getting ready for Thanksgiving, our Fresh Cranberry doughnut is back, with fresh cranberries in the glaze, and just the slightest bit of tart.

Cranberry Cake

Made with fresh cranberries chopped and folded into both the dough and glaze.

Yeast Doughnuts

Light, airy fluffy yeast-raised doughnuts. We were the first to mix fresh fruit & nuts in a doughnut glaze.

Vanilla Bean

Covered in a Madagascar vanilla bean glaze.  For the traditionalists.

Rose Doughflower

Rose shaped doughnuts, a Doughnut Plant original.  Glaze infused with rose water and crushed edible rose petals.


Filled Square Doughnuts

Filled with housemade jams & creams—"Filling in every bite." The world's first square-filled doughnut.

Coconut Cream

Square doughnut filled with fresh coconut milk cream and a fresh coconut glaze. We break open fresh coconuts daily.

Peanut Butter & Jam

We roast peanuts straight from a farm in Georgia and make our own peanut butter. We also make our jam too, with fresh blackberries or seasonal fruit.

Peanut Butter & Banana Cream

Filled with fresh banana cream and dipped in house-made peanut butter glaze.

Vanilla Bean & Jam

Filled with our house-made jam and made with a real vanilla bean glaze.


Our mini, round filled doughnuts, including the world's first Créme Brûlée doughnut.

Crème Brûlée

Our signature doughnut: filled with our own vanilla bean custard and individually torched to caramelize the sugar topping for a true brulee crunch.

Chocolate Hazelnut

Hazelnut chocolate filling covered with a roasted hazelnut glaze.

Manhattan Cream

Dipped in Valrhona chocolate and filled with vanilla bean cream.

Near the intersection of a classic birthday cake and a buttery pound cake. No eggs!

Red Velvet

Naturally colored, dipped in a cream cheese glaze and sprinkled with red velvet cake crumbs.

Black & White

Half dark chocolate. Half white chocolate. The glaze & the dough! Inspired by the classic NY cookie.

Cinnamon Sugar

Tossed in organic sugar and cinnamon.

Wild Blueberry

Full of imported wild blueberries, in the dough and the glaze.

Matcha Green Tea

A daily flavor at Doughnut Plant Tokyo, this cake doughnut uses the finest matcha green tea from Japan in the dough and glaze. Only available on Monday, Friday & Saturday.

Chocolate Chip Cookie

Pecan dough dipped in Valrhona chocolate, then in cookie crumbs.  Take a bite and the flavors combine to create this deconstructed cookie. Available only on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.


Over half the dough is rolled oats with apricots, cranberries, sunflower seeds and cashews. Only available Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday.

Tres Leches

The sweet taste of the authentic Mexican "Three Milks" cake.

Brooklyn Blackout

Rich chocolate cake doughnut dipped in Valrhona chocolate, with a chocolate pudding filling and then sprinkled with chocolate cake crumbs.  Doughnut Plant's tribute to Brooklyn's Ebinger's bakery.

Carrot Cake

Traditional carrot cake with lots of fresh carrots, raisins, walnuts & spices in the dough and a cream cheese filling and glaze and sprinkled with carrots and walnuts.

Coffee Cake

Chock full of real coffee - in the dough, in the glaze, in the creamy mascarpone filling...even in the crumbs on top.

Our first gluten-free cake doughnut. Made with gluten-free ingredients in a designated room in our bakery, our first gluten-free doughnut has a glaze made with Marcona almonds and topped with chopped Marcona almonds.
