Doughnut Plant Doughnuts

Our passion is providing our customers with the best doughnuts in the world, handcrafted every day using the finest ingredients available. Our doughnuts are made fresh throughout the day at our bakery in New York City. All of our jams, fillings and glazes are made in house and our dough is rolled and cut by hand. We never use eggs, preservatives or anything artificial and our doughnuts contain no trans fat.

We are a bakery, making fresh doughnuts daily. Flavors are subject to availability. We also add new flavors that may not be listed here, so stop in and check out what we’re doing. #moredeliciousness


We'll be celebrating 25 years of deliciousness all year by bringing back fan favorites and classic flavors we created since we started in Mark's Lower East Side kitchen in 1994.

In honor of Pride Month in NYC and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, our PRIDE DOUGHNUT is back for the whole month of June. This year, Doughnut Plant will donate 5% of sales of our special handmade triangle-shaped yeast doughnut — with a raspberry glaze and naturally-colored stripes — to support The Trevor Project, the world's largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. We first made the PRIDE DOUGHNUT in 1997 when Mark sold them at the Gay Pride Parade in front of Eureka Joe on Fifth Avenue, one of the first shops to sell our doughnuts.

Yeast Doughnuts

Light, airy fluffy yeast-raised doughnuts. We were the first to mix fresh fruit & nuts in a doughnut glaze.

Coconut Cream

Square doughnut filled with fresh coconut milk cream and a fresh coconut glaze. We break open fresh coconuts daily.

Peanut Butter & Jam

We roast peanuts straight from a farm in Georgia and make our own peanut butter. We also make our jam too, with fresh blueberries at the moment!

Peanut Butter & Banana Cream

Filled with fresh banana cream and dipped in house-made peanut butter glaze.

Vanilla Bean & Jam

Filled with our house-made fresh blueberry jam and made with a real vanilla bean glaze.


Our mini, round filled doughnuts, including the world's first Créme Brûlée doughnut.

Crème Brûlée

Our signature doughnut: filled with our own vanilla bean custard and individually torched to caramelize the sugar topping for a true brulee crunch.

Dipped in Valrhona chocolate and filled with vanilla bean cream.

Brooklyn Blackout

Rich chocolate cake doughnut dipped in Valrhona chocolate, with a chocolate pudding filling and then sprinkled with chocolate cake crumbs.  Doughnut Plant's tribute to Brooklyn's Ebinger's bakery.

Carrot Cake

Traditional carrot cake with lots of fresh carrots, raisins, walnuts & spices in the dough and a cream cheese filling and glaze and sprinkled with carrots and walnuts.

Coffee Cake

Chock full of real coffee - in the dough, in the glaze, in the creamy mascarpone filling...even in the crumbs on top.


Naturally colored, with a cream cheese filling and glaze and sprinkled with red velvet cake crumbs.

Our first gluten-free cake doughnut. Made with gluten-free ingredients in a designated room in our bakery, our first gluten-free doughnut has a glaze made with Marcona almonds and topped with chopped Marcona almonds.


Valrhona chocolate and our own house roasted coffee come together in Doughnut Plant's new gluten free Mocha cake doughnut.
